The Hotel

Built for people who arrive tired

Most city hotels are designed to look good in a photograph at eleven in the morning. The Meridian was designed around eleven at night — check-in that takes ninety seconds, a kitchen that runs until one, and rooms you cannot hear the street from.

The building is a 1930s bank hall. We kept the brass, the marble and the height, and replaced everything that was making noise.

  • Triple glazing on every street-facing room
  • Kitchen open until 01:00, room service the same
  • Rooftop pool and gym open 06:00 to 22:00
  • Late checkout at 16:00 whenever the floor allows it

Guest Notes

From people who stay a lot

“I travel twenty weeks a year. This is the only hotel where I have never once been woken by the corridor.”

R. Okonkwo · Skyline King

“Ran a fourteen-person workshop in the middle room. The video kit worked first time, which has never happened to me before.”

Amira S. · Meeting rooms

“Landed at midnight, checked in in under two minutes, and ate a proper plate of food at half past twelve.”

Jonas W. · Classic King
